Bluestone BlueBookFever

It’s Monday and I sit at my desk wondering why is it that time seems to take a different form over the weekend and vanish in a second. Something like in the movie Interstellar where seven years on earth equals a couple of hours on another planet. Two days seem like two seconds, and before you know it, you are waking up on a Monday morning, and dressing up for work. Most times I need to dress for Monday to kick those Monday blues, if you know what I mean. It was a similar situation today, when it suddenly hit me – The BlueBook!

The #BlueBookFever has been spreading all across the country and finally you get to know what it is all about. Bluestone is a brand that houses the finest quality jewelry and has more than 3000 unique designs for you to choose from. The brand Bluestone stands for “Pure Jewelry for real Love” and has a wide range of contemporary jewelry that are appropriate to every moment in a real relationship. They have recently launched the BlueBook, thirty pages of lust worthy jewelry based on three themes – Wedding Bells, Cosmo Culture and Lovelore. They are all understated pieces that can be worn the entire day, and that’s exactly what appealed to me. This contemporary and stylish lookbook is like your very own jewelry style guide, and captures the essential jewelry guides for three occasions – festive, romance and work.

Another exciting part of their new collection is the Peacock Collection, that’s named the Blue Feather Collection. Like I’ve mentioned several times before, anything that’s delicate and dainty immediately finds a place for itself in my jewelry stash. An intricately designed, dainty set of earrings and pendant that makes you feel just as tall, beautiful, graceful and proud as a peacock. I paired the blue and green studded pair with a white dress, symbolizing the beauty of both a white and blue peacock. I’m a hoarder of jewelry and I can never have enough! My first thought was that these pieces could be styled around all three themes – festive, romance and work. But since it is the festive season, I created a very feminine, understated and elegant festive look.

How to style the same jewelry for:
Work: Wear either the earrings or the necklace. Never both. Pair the earrings with a white shirt and trousers, or just pair the necklace with a V-neck blouse and a pencil skirt

Romance: Have your hair up, pair the pieces with an elegant black, white or blue dress. Add a clutch and heels!
