Her Looks

Fusion Summer

March 27, 2017

Indo fusion has to be one of my favorite ways to dress up! Last month on our trip to Orange County Resorts in Hampi, all I carried were Indian clothes in order to create  a few looks at the spectacular property. I have been doing a series of posts all related to ‘Styling for the Summer’, and this is the third from the series.

Now that the last hope, for cool spring breeze that is usually there in the month of March, is totally crushed, it’s all about full fledged summer clothing. From ethic wear to kurtas for women to indo fusion, it is time to embrace light fabrics, loose clothing like never before.

This is one of the simplest, elegant looks that I came up with in just minutes. The palazzos were the same ones that I wore for my Mehendi function. I made sure that all my wedding outfits that I bought could be re-used and mix and matched in different ways, as I simply don’t see the point of buying something super expensive and then letting it waste away in your closet. The pretty cotton crop top has interesting button detailing on the back.

If you are looking for more summer inspired outfits, I’ve put together a video of Summer Essentials for this season on my Youtube channel. There’s also a fun Summer Giveaway, so don’t forget to check it out!
