How’s the summer treating you guys so far? Surprisingly I feel l’m complaining much less about the heat this year, than I did every year before!
My days mostly consist of shifting from one AC room to another, staying glued to my laptop the entire day, and sipping on lots and lots of coconut water. I had a severe sunstroke last summer, and that experience has kept the fear alive. So narial paani has become my summer staple, combined with a few doses of buttermilk every single day.
Work wise it’s the same old routine of planning content, creating content, scheduling content, pouring over social media analytics and then churning out more content. Same ‘ol, same ‘ol. Work has been keeping me quite busy but I did manage to shoot for the blog in between. I styled a very typical “Chandana” summer look, extremely casual and easy fitting. This look reminded me of a summer sorbet, colourful, cool and so temptingly comfortable to look at! I think the only time I’m stepping out is for shoots and meetings. My already non-existent social life has become officially extinct thanks to being locked up at home because of the summer heat. Each time I step out, I literally sweat my brains out, so as long as I have my work, laptop and a freezer full of ice cream (which magically keeps getting replenished thanks to the husband), I’m good!
