Her Looks

Minimalist Glam | Autumn Look 2

October 8, 2018

The past couple of weeks have been so busy without a moment to breathe. I’ve been rushing from shoot to event to meetings and then back to my desk non-stop. While managing my blog & social media itself is a full time job,  being a 24×7 ‘creative’ constantly ideating and brainstorming with different teams of people is a whole other thing. But I love the challenge, I love pushing the envelope and trying to come up with something that makes the client happy!

Lately, my hectic schedule and projects have made me realise that the only one who can stop you from doing anything is yourself. You can always make time to better your skill, and make the next day more productive than the last. Sometimes saying NO can be the best way to up your game and productivity. Not every association (personal or professional) will take you places, some will just drag you down. When it comes to the business of blogging, you associate with brands, yes. But eventually it is all about the people behind the brand, right? When the other side is clueless about the blogging industry and about what their requirements and expectations from you are, you can be rest assured it’s only going to go downhill from there on. My fair share of bad experiences have taught me that sometimes it’s better to say no and stay away from brand associations that might pay a lot and look lucrative on the outside, but will just result in a loss eventually because, the other side fails to understand how best to utilise the blogger’s platform to they advantage.

But with fake influencers being outed every other day, and companies putting in an effort to research on the kind of bloggers they want to associate their brand with, the industry seems to be sitting up and taking notice. So all is not lost! I’m pretty sure that creative, original content will be crowned as king (or queen) again.

Meanwhile, I am continuing to embrace the so called ‘fall’ weather here by continuing to style my favourite looks. What do you think?

The plazzos and the shrug really make you stand out of the crowd yet be as subtle and simple as possible, the look is exceptionally amazing.
