Happy Month of LOVE everybody!

There’s something about the whole month of February that puts everyone in a romantic and fun mood. Of course it’s the month of LOVE thanks to Valentine’s day, but even if that wasn’t so, February – that short and littlest month of the year arrives with all things perfect. The weather is usually pleasant, you’ve settled into the new year by then, summer heat hasn’t started yet and there’s just a feel good factor going all around!

This year we didn’t want to restrict our Valentine’s Day celebrations to a single day or to celebrating with just your significant other. Self love and time-out with your friends is just as important. Girlfriends are such an essential part of our life & support system and there’s nothing like a day out with your girl gang to set all your worries straight.

So me and my #OGBloggers Sowmya and Aria, decided to have a gala Galentine’s day doing all the things we love – watching our favourite sitcoms, early roadside breakfast, shopping, getting our nails done, some ranting and cribbing (about work, boys, life!) and of course a healthy dose of laughs and giggles!

Cozy Sleepovers!

The best way to bond is over gossip sessions and Netflix nights with your favourite sitcoms. We had a cozy setup in cute pyjamas for the perfect sleepover night!

We were done with cafes and their fancy decor. So we headed out in our pyjamas for some piping hot road side dosas and chai. Finding people that match your vibe can get hard as you get older. But I’m glad the three of us can make impromptu plans and try new things like this, all the while making it fun and fashionable! Our mutual love for fashion makes sure we are dressed up even when dressing down! 😉

Making it pop like pink champagne!

What’s better than a pampering session along with your girls? Being a colour coordinated trio!

We went to the new “Nail Talk” in Banjara Hills for a much needed mani-pedi session. It’s one of the best places in Hyderabad you can go to for your nails, and the team is warm, welcoming and very professional. We caught up with our dose of fashion magazines, kicked our heels back, relaxed, took our mind off daily worries and just worried about choosing a perfect nail colour instead!

Those who hate shopping don’t know HOW to shop!

We couldn’t really end the day without shopping, could we? I’m someone who doesn’t usually shop in malls. Everything I buy is online because it is so convenient and I don’t need to deal with all the walking around, queues at the trial room or the billing counter. But having two friends to goof around with, takes your mind off the stress of shopping in a mall!

Sunday should come with a PAUSE button!

After having spent a pretty girly afternoon at the salon and shopping, we were ready for some hardcore gaming. Okay who am I kidding, we went there for the ‘gram! 😛

We do go bowling once in a while, but this time we decided to extend it to ALL gaming. It was so much FUN! We brought out our version of sassy street style looks, and put our game face on for an epic end to a Galentine’s day!

It was such a long shoot to plan and put-together with so many locations, outfit changes and other elements. But the best part was it didn’t feel like work. We actually managed to have a fabulous time planning all the activities, indulging in them, and in the process also capturing the entire experience!
