I’ve recently taken to pairing silhouettes of a similar kind together. Fashion ‘rules’ always claim that if it’s fitted on the top, it needs to be loose on the bottom and vice versa. But I think that rule has been broken a long time ago because what can be more comfortable than anti-fit! For once you don’t need to bother about it fitting in all the right places, complementing your body type, accentuating your best feature or with altering it to fit you in all the right places. Anti-fit is one of the defining features of the Levis 501Jeans, but off-late the term is being attributed to the boxy and loose silhouettes as well. Shift dresses, boxy tops, slouchy trousers, palazzos paired with long loose kurtis – these are some of the ways in which you can embrace this trend and be a hundred percent sure that you will be comfortable.
I decided to do the same and paired monochrome koovs trousers with a long black shirt dress. Inspiration behind going all black? Well, apart from it being my favorite color, my go-to color, and a no-brainer outfit, it was these white gold incocu planetary earrings from Incocu. Inspired by the solar system, this pair portrays our universe and beyond. Talk about science meeting fashion! A round cut amethyst and pink tourmaline come together in this cosmic match. The amethyst and the white gold hoops reflected so strongly against the black and white outfit, that I didn’t feel the need to add anything else to complete the outfit. Just a pair of heels and a gorgeous sunset!
