Being a true dreamer, I am most comfortable when left alone with my thoughts, day dreaming about life, people and planning for the future. As each day ticks by, I tell myself that, that’s another day gone, another day closer to the end of the year. I kind of make it sound way too serious and ominous in my head than it is. But that’s who I am! As the year draws closer, questions about what I want to do in the future, and whether I am doing what I need to do in order to shape it up the way I want to, start popping up in my head. Mostly it’s only questions. The answers, those tend to not pop up. Forget resolutions, but I’ve always believed in making plans and having goals and a purpose in life. But it is when it comes to the implementation part that life tends to throw those dreaded curve-balls.
But it is the year end, and in spite of feeling that tinge of sadness for leaving this year behind, I can’t help but get into the festive mood of this month! Keeping that in mind, I started dressing up in a bit more cheery fashion. One such early morning, I get dressed in a cozy sweater, drive down to the city enjoying the cold cold air on my face, my hands freezing on the steering wheel, the roads slowly coming to life as the city wakes up, and finally rush into the warmth of a coffee shop.
