I don’t usually try out too many products each month but there are times when something catches my fancy and I can’t get enough of it. Here are some of my Top 5 favorites over the past couple of months
1) TIGI shampoo and conditioner
I’ve used TIGI sometime before as well. I mentioned in one of my previous posts that I have two or three brands of hair products that I keep going back to every few months depending on the weather and the condition of my hair. I recently started with TIGI again, this time opting for the urban anti+dotes Recovery shampoo and conditioner. Its like an all-night recovery party for your hair that dramatically improves smoothness and gives it some much needed shine.
2) Maybelline Fit me range
I cannot stress how much I love this foundation. When I first purchased it I was super skeptical, mainly because I had chosen the shade through a simple online test from their website and ordered it based on that. But the shade that was recommended for me, 230 natural buff, was suitable in every sense. The foundation is light enough for everyday wear and yet offers more than decent coverage. It gives a very smooth and matte finish which I love! Next are these two other Maybelline products – the lip gradation pencil and the gel nail color. The lip gradation which comes in 8 colors is creamy, buttery and very pigmented. The gel nail color range too has become an instant favorite. Even without a top coat (which I almost always am lazy to put) there is no chipping of the polish even after two weeks! Score!
3) Koovs sunglasses & Stylefiesta earrings
I personally love jhumkas of all kinds and don’t miss any opportunity in adding to my collection. These stylefiesta jhumkas are the perfect pair for every ethnic outfit! I’ve been wearing them non-stop since I bought them. Also in the list of latest buys are these sunglasses from Koovs. Sunglasses are by far my most favorite accessory!
4) Choker necklaces
Seems like no one can have enough of this trend. And neither can I! Check out this DIY if you haven’t already!
5) Printed palazzos and long tops
It’s summer! And the heat is literally melting all my energy. My go-to dressing for the summer months has always been something airy and comfortable. And I’ve been stocking up on palazzos and culottes more and more.
