Mustard Madness | Autumn Look1

September 18, 2018

Summer and Fall are two of my most favourite seasons because I thrive in hot weather! I layer up even for winters in Hyderabad, so you can imagine how terrible I am at handling cold weather. I know it’s all about the clothes, and as long as you wear the right clothes and are comfortable, you can tackle any kind of weather. But the thought of dull, gloomy days with minimum sunlight really affects me mentally. And I’m saying this while living in one of the most tropical countries in the world!

If I ever shift out of India to a country that has actual winters (snow storms, blizzards and cold winds.. ugh!) I have no idea what I would do. Even the thought of shopping for cute boots and warm cozy sweaters is not enough to make me even remotely like winters.

Even though we don’t have much of a ‘fall’ weather here, I love what it represents! The leaves turning different colours paint the most beautiful picture ever, and I always take inspiration from fall colours to incorporate them in my daily outfits. This is the first of my Autumn/Fall inspired looks from the series that I will be posting over the next couple of months.

Mustard is a colour that I get very excited about, mostly because it is very uncommon to find really good outfits in this shade. This lovely dress sent to me by Rena Love certainly made it to my favourites’ list and was my first choice for a fall outfit. Light layering is what works best for city weather like ours! I’m also trying to get out of my comfort zone and try darker lip colours, what do you guys think of this look?

Let me know your favourite colours to wear for Fall/Autumn in the comments below!
