Last October, I had associated with one of my favourite designer brands House of Masaba, to style and showcase some of my favourite pieces from the latest festive collection (Here’s the video in case you missed it)
Quirky, young, vibrant and eclectic – Masaba has always been one of my favourite designers. Someone who has always pushed the limits of creativity and done something unthinkable & amazing with her designs.
I think what stands out the most for me is how she has proudly and successfully infused her background, heritage and culture into her designs in a very versatile manner. There’s something for every occasion in her designs, which appeals to the young urban woman who wants to make a statement. Every inch of the store and cafe has that typical ‘Masaba’ touch in terms of decor and bright colours.
I’m not someone who opts for very bright colours, and I saw this as my chance to get out of my comfort zone and infuse that Caribbean vibe into my style! Overall I had fun picking the brightest colours I could find, and creating these images!
Are you a Masaba fan? Which one is your favourite look?
