First of all, Happy 2019!
I’m glad to be starting off the new year with a brand new blog post! Speaking of posts, anyone remember this ambitious little blog post of mine, where I rattled off all the things I wanted to do in 2018? Care to take a guess as to how many of those I achieved? Well, I almost-sort-of touched up on all of the points but didn’t really continue doing them with the kind of intensity I intended to.
I think by the end of 2018 there were two big learnings. One, I really need to work on my mental health which is the only thing that can help me in being more focussed and disciplined. Two, it’s okay to not get everything (that you thought of doing) done. Things don’t always go according to plan and that’s fine. Being at peace is way more important than any goal or task that you have/haven’t achieved. And I’m going to do everything in my power to make ‘being at peace’ my #1 goal in life.
In other news, this winter, Hyderabad has been chillier than ever before. Which is a good excuse to bring out all those warm clothing items which were bought in wishful thinking. Now’s the time for them to see the light of day!
