It’s November and Winter is not coming. Definitely not coming. Thought I felt a *slight* chill a couple of evenings back. Hopes were raised, jackets were brought out and dusted, outfits were planned in my head, and then hopes were crushed when I happened to spend just one hour outside in the sun. I thought I was going to get a heat stroke.
But even that didn’t stop me from putting together a lookbook for Autumn/Winter like I always do. Sometimes you’ve just got to sweat through it for the sake of fashion!
One of my favourite ways of amping up a simple denim + t-shirt look, is to add a jacket, and roll up your trousers. It makes a world of a difference and instantly transforms your look to chic. I borrowed this jacket from the boy’s wardrobe, and there’s something about wearing your husband’s clothes that’s so satisfying. It’s like having an entire secondary wardrobe at your disposal. Nobody is going to say no to extra outfits right? I also love that the jacket is a little big on me and the oversized look that it brings with it. This is also a perfect example of light layering that will take you from hot daytime temperatures to the slightly colder evening/night air. There is a slight and I mean very slight chill in the air during the nights, so I’m just going to don my layers, roll up my sleeves and take whatever little of winter that’s coming my way!
