Baggit – Play the Life Game

June 13, 2016

Staying true to yourself can be the most challenging and the most liberating thing you’ll ever do in life. From knowing who you are to figuring out what you want and how you are going to get it, it is a long journey. Over the years the blog has turned into so much more than ‘just a hobby’. From making me realize what I am passionate about, to teaching me to be patient in waiting for results, it’s been a heck of a journey. Never in a million years did I think that this would be my career one day. Fashion and style for me have always been a way to express myself. It’s movement, creativity, art, design and architecture all combined into one. Being a blogger and turning my blog into a business has made me more confident, independent and bold of the choices I make in life, as I “play the life game”.

Handbag and accessories brand, Baggit launched an interesting campaign called “Play the life game” sometime back, and they have taken it forward to the new fashion season as well with much more attitude and poise that any strong independent woman can relate to in daily life. Most of us are juggling multiple roles, careers and hobbies in a single day, and the brand has captured those different aspects and moods of modern women who live life on their own terms and are not afraid of taking responsibility. Be it in fashion or other wise, we are ready to make a mark with our style and attitude.

Baggit is one brand that has been part of almost every woman’s life at some point or other. When they asked me to pick a bag from their latest collection and style it according to my personality, I knew it had to be something that would represent being yourself, being genuine, being opinionated, being happy and proud of who you are, and never hiding yourself. There is a constant urge to express yourself and let the world see your true self, and with their S/S’16 collection they have created a verbal language that closely mirrors how this generation speaks.

I picked the Mini Sling-orange bag, a casual bag for a lazy Sunday. Something that can be styled effortlessly, something that doesn’t pressure you to be ‘in trend’ but just be yourself!
