I have a collection of about 30 sarees so far (probably more), which is quite a good number considering that I don’t wear sarees on a daily basis. Being married in a strictly conservative, ritualistic family means lots and lots of pujas. While I am not much of a ritualistic person, I do take that chance to dress up in the cutest printed silks and comfortable cottons and stock up on those before hand!
I like to wear light weight sarees which are comfortable and can be worn throughout the day without feeling like you are carrying a heavy load on yourself. Which is why printed silks, cottons and linen sarees are my go-to options.
