I was looking to add a few new pieces to my wardrobe and in the browsing frenzy of having 10 different online shopping tabs open, I spotted pretty pink floral dress on FabAlley. I scarcely have any maxi dresses and I’m forever on the lookout for the right one. Although I’m tall, because of my lean frame, most maxi dresses look like they are swallowing me whole. I’ve somehow never managed to find the right fit. But this pretty pink strappy dress fits like a dream, and is literally the SECOND maxi dress that I own, that looks good on me. This gives me hope that I might be able to find my third and fourth one too!

A little more browsing led me to a super simple basic black crop top. I can literally style this in countless ways and never get tired of it. I think it’s the one of the most essential and versatile pieces to have in your wardrobe, and I have no idea why I didn’t get one sooner. Shorts, skirts, palazzos, high waist pants – this crop top is going to be paired with literally everything I own, until it falls apart!

My love for mustard is still going strong. After the pretty mustard dress you saw in the last post, I spotted a ruffle sleeve, lace top that looked too pretty to ignore. I can just imagine myself prancing around a beach in a pair of white shorts and this top. Yellow and mustard are colours that I never thought I would want to hoard on, but what can I say, I surprise myself! Mustard has successfully joined hands with black as one of my all time favourite colours!

I’ve also tried my hand at clicking my own outfit pictures, and I’m surprised that they aren’t terrible like I expected. Take a look!
